Today is draw Mohammed day, that time of the year when we tell our muslim neighbours we are not part of their evil religion, and therefore are not subject to it's ridiculous laws.

Think before you bullshit

Today I read about the tragic suicide of a young girl who had become convinced the world was going to end very soon. She had been reading bullshit article after bullshit article on various apocalyptic scenarios. My favourite of which is...
"The most recent one she read was on sun spots and how if they went wrong it could cause a nuclear reaction"
One fact which easily dismisses this particular bullshit, the sun IS a giant nuclear reaction. Who comes up with this bollocks? Why are people so desperate for the world to end that they have to make up this crap? I don't blame the girl for one second, she was young and still learning. She probably had other problems which contributed to her decision. But reading the nonsense so many people want to vomit on everyone clearly had a huge effect.
People really need to think about the consequences of writing their bullshit ideas out for all to see. Those among us with young and fragile minds might not be able to discern reality from the bullshit, with devastating results. What you say can have a huge effect one people, so basically, stop talking shit!

Dubai to freedom

A woman was arrested recently in Dubai for apparently "having naked sex in the back of a taxi". The driver took offense to this of course and reported her to the police.
Now, I very much doubt the woman in question was naked. I also doubt she was having sex. The situation was probably closer to this...she was kissing someone and got a bit frisky. That's if the testemony is accurate, as she claims to have been alone in the car. As far as she knew, she was arrested for having a bottle of beer.
In either case, the only reason the driver took offense was most likely because she had been enjoying herself. This is a big no no in Islam. A woman mustn't enjoy herself in any way, after all, she is only on earth to serve man. How dare she have fun!
I wonder if the driver would have taken so much offense if the woman was being raped in the back of his car. I very much doubt it!
